One month ago purchased the SD49425XB-HNR from Andy and happy so far besides one important detail:
We have the camera set to only use IVS (1 rule on one preset) with motion tracking. But very often after a power failure or reboot, the standard and intelligent motion tracking is switched on again. (causing a lot of false triggers)
Is this a known issue with this firmware and what is the way to go without loosing the tracking option?

Camera: SD49425XB-HNR
Firmware: V2.800.1341000.0.R.P9.2522.UN.NR (12/02/2020)

Seems I am the only one with the issue of multiple Dahua camera's jumping back to their (internal)motion enabled setting?
It gets even more strange. After a crash from BI the same happened again for both camera's. Those to are both running in Thailand while my BI is based in Europe.
Somehow it seems they get a reset back to the default motion event setting.
All IVS rules etc stay the same so it does not look like a full camera default.
Any suggestions? Is there a BI option to send or control settings on the camera somehow? Both are ONVIF.

It is not a camera issue it is a BI issue. It is changing it to turn on MD after a reset.

Many people have reported it on this site. If the camera is not connected to BI it doesn't happen.

The workaround is to go into motion detection and turn the sensitivity way down and then define a small area like one block in a corner so that when it turns itself back on it isn't really doing anything.

Oh wow, never realized BI could also send settings into the camera. That explains a lot and thanks a lot for the workaround, that sounds like a plan!

Well it isn't supposed to, but we have seen a few quirks like this! Believe me, it drove a few of us nuts as well trying to figure out why it was triggering for everything!
