Had the above ptz for a while now and I love the camera although recently I've been having some issues with it.
I'm not sure if it's actually the camera hardware or firmware itself or my network web of spaghetti causing the issues.
I run the camera on timed presets and tours with ivs rules setup in a few of these areas. In 1 specific area I have the camera setup to track objects.
The problem itself lies here.
I use an intrusion zone and then track.
I've noticed recently that when the ptz goes in to tracking mode it starts to freeze and jutter to the point it's just not usable.
Once it returns back it's fine.
If i manually use the ptz controls again everything is fine no freezing or juttering.
My network cabling is due to be upgraded and re routed shortly as this isn't the greatest at the moment using numerous switches and cabling routes.
But this particular camera is using good quality solid copper cat6.
It shouldn't be a bandwidth issue as the nvr I'm using Hikvision DS7632N-E2 has plenty of bandwidth left with all my cams installed.
I'm running the latest firmware for the camera both the ptz version and actual camera firmware.
I'm just stumped where to look.
I saw a post previously where a member was having similar issues but no solution was offered. .
I run this csm with a power brick and not Poe so I wouldn't think that was an issue either as the brick is rated plenty enough for the camera.
This issue presents itself both in live view and playback on both the nvr and in the web gui also in the dahua desktop software (I forget the name st the moment)
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Ps I also have the FPS and IFrame set to 15
