These days some guys asking me where to find the autotrakcing settings for the SD59430U-HNI, today i make a short explaination, hope can help some clients for the latest new dahua autotracking cameras setting.

1. Find the IVS on the EVENT.
2. You have to add the Calibration area.
3. Make the drawing, 3 vertical and 1 horizon for example.
4. You can make the area setting as you want, after all setting, then can make the camera auto-tracking when moving items enter the area you setting.

Just write down my idea, if anyone have good explanation, that is great!
@Cameraguy get a SD59225U-HNI and he made a video for how to make the IVS setting, may help guys here. Thanks to his efforts. Guys if have problems, can ping to him, he is a helpful man.

Hi everyone! I just got a DH-SD59225U-HNI and I have trouble customizing the autotracking settings:

1. I would like to customize the track time - no matter what I put into the "track time" input box, the camera tracks the object for a few seconds and then returns to preset
2. I would like to customize the zoom level while tracking

Anyone?

Thanks

Been having trouble with 2 of these cameras since I got them the picture quality is excellant...Using them in BI and getting very spotty PTZ control none of the Dahua PTZ protocols work in BI using ONVIF for control....and as for the Auto Tracking not only is it one of the most complicated things to set up and Im pretty tech savy....after trying to use it for a good 6mo now I would say 30% of the time it works 10% of the time it is EXTREMELY hit or miss...it's ok for tracking people if they are walk very very slow Im using this on a residential street FORGET vehicles moving more than 15-20mph...and as others have stated no matter how long you set tracking time it seems to reset after about 10sec even if it has a good track....also I would say at least 90% of the time the autotracking feature completely cuts out after 2300hrs and I have to reposition it every morn to get it to track again....I have attached a screenshot of current software/firmware/PTZ if anyone can provide updates much appreciated.....Tks

Your firmware is very old, update to the latest from the Dahua website. There are two files, one is for the PTZ, the other is the general firmware.

Updated all software to latest versions:

Step 1:
Add a plan

step 2:

Step 3:
Draw a rule.....nothing will happen. no lines apear

Wow, big thanks for this because IT WORKS! The only issue I have is it tracks like it should but not for the time entered. It seems to track only for about 30 seconds even tthough I have 120 seconds entered. By the way this in on the PTZ1A225U-IRA-N i got from Andy. Awesome camera not functioning as it should after putting it on a POE+ power injector.

One thing I like about this method is it does not zoom in as much as just using the Auto Track option in EVENTS when using a tripwire.
