I have a couple of Dahua Starlight turret cameras I'd like to mount to drop ceiling tiles. I want to make sure the cameras don't bend the ceiling tiles over time, or fall down and hit someone. Can someone tell me what the recommended way to mount these is? Thanks!

If its in your home, you can do whatever you want, If in a place of business or public area, code can be involved about mounting in a ceiling tile. I like to use chicken wire, or as some call it mechanics wire I believe it 14 gauge. Try to find something to tie the camera off too. It does help with weight issues but in case of fire or a roof leak and the tile gets wet , with no support it will come down and so will your camera. I usually get some larger washers on the hidden part of your cam mounting(in the ceiling) and wrap the wire a few times on the mounting hardware, sometimes you have to be creative but you can do it.
The simplest method I have used is use an electrical box cover on back side of tile. Then use a safety cable or suspended ceiling wire from box cover to something secure above.
Another option is to use a t-bar ceiling bracket with an octagonal box. I use them now and again (mind you, I'm an electrician by trade).
The Arlington brand comes with a piece of the wire too.
Another option would be the Arlington cam box kit... but you'll see a white trim piece.

Place a square of wood behind the tile, ideally the size of the tile (600x600) and screw through tile to that
Timely info, I'm going to be helping a family member install some cameras in drop ceilings and I was wondering about this.
Thats all good and fine until the maintenance man who has to replace a filter or fix a leaky pipe above that tile has to get at it and cuts your wire and curses you for doing it that way. That's why I like the least invasive way with the mechanics wire, at least the next guy will not have to fight to get at his shit above that ceiling tile.
