Setting up a vlan with Bi

Hay please take a look at what I got so far and tell me if it will work and where I should connect VPN sever and lastly if leave the WIFI on the gateway turned on what access to the network would it have (talk about run on sentence)

I will be using a Netgear ProSafe Smart Switch #GS724TP

I would put all the cameras on one switch if possible but if not not a huge deal.

also I would put the blue iris server only on vlan 2.

Are you going to host your vpn on the BI server or do you ave a router or firewall capable of that?

Currently I have a small standalone VPN server running off of a small Linux device similar to a raspberry pie but more powerful

Capable of running open VPN or Ipec

If I put the Blue Iris server only on VLAN two would I not lose the ability to remote into it via my VPN

The reason for the second switch

Extremely difficult to get a cable from the front of my house for my server and switch our to the back of my house where I need additional cameras so I ran a cat six cable to his second switch to accommodate the cameras in the rear my house
