By logging into my camera directly through a web browser, I have added an SMTP email details (my gmail account). I sent a test email using the test button and presto, I receive a mail.
Two questions;
1. I have tried to set IVS tripwire with email notification, however, I never received a mail upon activation of tripwire.
EDIT: I have somehow managed to do this; have a mail however the image is very blurry (I tripped it and as the image is so blurry/, it could've been anyone. Would be hard to make an id of somebody, Any pointers on how to resolve
2. I had to allow "less secure apps" on gmail to make this happen. Is this a risk?
