When the sun/clouds move i get alerts what setting changes that?

No the cam is not pointed at the sky it's when it's somewhat dark out because of the clouds then sun peaks.

Zone crossing is your friend. Experiment, you'll get it. It does take some time.

It can be accomplished but may take some time. Here in Florida we get wind and sun. I hate palm trees.
