Shadows on the driveway

I still have this issue with shadows. Shadows on the grass are not as bad, but shadows on my driveway or deck easily trigger the motion alert.


I have tried "Cancel shadows" and that does not make any difference. I could zone out that area, but that changes with time of year and day. I think most of the way to fix it will cause more harm than good. Any other ideas for stuff like this?

4.3.9.5 has been giving me shadow problems as well. Previous versions didnt have as many shadow false alarms.... *fingers crossed* it gets fixed with a new update.

Thanks 555. I'm still new to this and getting my system setup. I have a ton of hard drive space to it's not a big deal. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something dumb. I do have the latest version installed.

Yeah, email Ken/support. It's important that he realizes it's bigger than just me (he said it was working fine for other people...)
