1) is there a high quality sheet rock tool for cutting strips out of the sheet rock for running 2 and 4 wire cables?

2)and does anyone make a flat ethenet cable with solid copper that can be also put in notch strips made in sheet rock ?

3) if a flat solid copper exists, can it be used in a POE setup legally (to code)?

Thanks in advance.

That cable from Monoprice is only 30 guage. That's pretty light for any poe application.

It's just a patch cable - the sort of thing you'd use from a PC or other device to the RJ45 wall outlet in an office or shop or factory, not rated for the full 100m length but really handy and flexible for that last short run.

Granted, but the OP mentioned using it for poe applications. 30 gauge is too small for poe use. Cat 5 cable is 24 gauge and cat 6 is 23 gauge. Quite a difference.
