I have a problem with the night settings of the 5442epze camera, which shows the license plate at night, when a car passes in front of the camera with its lights on, the image slows down and freezes.

Look at time stamp in right up corner...

video jumps in time...

this can be from various reasons..

is this old or new (-S3) variant of 5442?

do you use NVR? what version?

do You use SMD and IVS?

did you had configured Storage -> Schedule for storing General, Motions & Inteligent for all hours all days on this channel (camera)? can You show screenshot of this menu?

What means 'records mode us scheduler'?
can you use full sentences?

Please put here screenshots of Storage->Schedule for that channel?
and screenshots of AI -> Parameters -> Smart Plan, AI -> Parameters -> SMD and AI -> Parameters -> IVS for specified channel (camera)?

is this a old 5442 (grey web panel) or a new one 5442-S3 (white / blue web panel)?

This is old 5442..

If You use only DMSS to configure then You probably don't have configured Storage -> Schedule plan at all..

Log at NVR using web browser and check/put screenshots of specified menu.

ps. and do all configuration of NVR / cams using web browser - not DMSS...

this don't even look like DMSS connection to NVR...
but only to camera...

where You store video files? and from which device You playback events?
NVR or camera?

So You don't record SMD (motion) and/or IVS (inteligent) events...

camera detects a car (via enabled SMD or IVS - You must check on camera), signal this to NVR and NVR stops recording...

ps. You can also check / disable SmartCodec in Camera -> Encoding menu..
it can create similar problems with skipping playback.
