Small toad triggers Blue Iris

I have my first IP cam, an 8 year old indoor Trendnet TV-IP651WI, sitting on a plant stand on the front porch; it keeps an eye on package deliveries.

A small toad with big eyes visits the porch at 1:52 AM and triggers Blue Iris...pretty sensitive, eh? Yeah, it's a grainy 640 x 480, but as I said it was my first IP cam circa 2010 and it has done what I've asked of it.

Yeah, we're about 500 yds. uphill from a 20,000 acre man-made lake and this time of year they come up near the house, usually when we're watching TV and the lights thru our glassed door & glass sidelights attracts bugs. It's kind of a buffet for them. The next morning you dodge little toad turds on the porch. It's funny because the turds are HUGE when you consider the size of what made them!

Love it! I've used Blue Iris and a few Hik-2032 cams to do mouse detection. Very capable software.
