Smaller mounting bracket for Dahua HFW5231E-Z5?

I just ordered the Dahua Starlight Varifocal Bullet Z5 7-35mm (IPC-HFW5231E-Z5). Based on the specification, it looks like the mount is about 3.75" wide.

I'm planning to put the camera in a location where I currently have a custom 3D printed mounting bracket, which is about 3" wide. It is on the outside of my house in the corner of a window, so I can't go much larger than that. Is it possible to attach this camera to a smaller mount that would fit on the mounting bracket I have (my Lorex and Amcrest cameras fit on it)? If so, where can I buy a generic mount that will accept the camera?

Thanks. I'm actually wondering whether this part in the red box can be replaced with a smaller bracket, like those that come with other cameras. All of the various brackets I've seen seem to be pretty similar, but I assume the size of the ball on the camera is what controls whether the corresponding bracket will accept the camera.
