Smart illumination not working on new Dahua TiOC Camera (SMD and Tripwire are working fine), What could be the reason ?

Show video example of what you mean. ?

BTW- not advisable to run BOTH SMD and Tripwire simultaneously.

What the boys said^^
Not working how? Not flashing when someone comes into field? Usually by default they won’t shut up until you get into the programming.

Light not flashing when someone comes into field. 3 out of my 6 8MP Cameras are workig fine. I tried enabling the smart illumination from the DMSS app (photo attached) as well as via the NVR. but no luck.

Do not do any settings in DMSS app or the NVR.

You need to do it in the camera itself. The fact that is works with the other ones if set up the same way is simply luck.

To get into the camera GUI from the NVR, you need to first access the NVR GUI by going to a computer and opening up a browser (preferably Internet Explorer but Pale Moon will work as well) and type in the IP address of the NVR and login that way. Next go into the camera settings page on the NVR and look for the Microsoft e Web Browser and select it and it will go to the camera GUI (photo credit bigredfish from his PSA thread). Your screen may look a little different to get into the camera gui and see if doing it this way gets you access to some other features the NVR is blocking - do not worry about the Port number and circle as that was from another issue someone posted.

Thank you , but no luck !!! :(

Can you show a picture from the camera's video at night?
I find my TiOC's only turns on to IR/white light when it's very dark.

What model are we talking about here? Since when does a TiOC camera come built in with IR?

@Kani Im having the exact same issue. Warning light never flashes when someone crosses the set area. Impacting all 3 cameras. The warning light works fine when manually triggered.

It would be nice to how you solve this issue.

This is the model i have IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV-ANZ - Dahua Oceania

Any help would be appreciated.
There is a priority list of things which need to be met before the light or speaker will activate (manual bypasses this).
Arm/disarm status -> Time schedule -> Warning light trigger.

And to trigger the IVS, there is also a priority list:
Smart plan -> IVS -> IVS rules set (with the warning light added to actions and the above time schedule).

Share a screenshot of your IVS rules setup.

Further, is the camera actually triggering or is that the first issue.

Someone can walk past a field of view all day and night long, but if the camera isn't triggering for the person, then the lights aren't gonna work either.

Is the problem day and night or just at night? This camera has shown to be problematic especially at night for reliable triggers.
