Hi All

Today I was playing around with SMD. I enable it on 3 of my cameras (2 4KT and 1 Mini PTZ), only human.

I quickly realize that it will trigger anything that the camera sees vs for certain areas of interest. So I disable it.

Even though it's disable, BI is still triggering.

I have done the following

-remove and re-add all 3 cameras,
-I have restarted the cameras via cam GUI.
-I have ensured that SMD is disable both via IE & chrome.
-I have toggle SMD off/on multiple times

One thing I notice is in BI for alerts is, before it would show RuleEngine/LineDetection... , now it would show "IsMotion=True"

@dubber Each camera can send a number of different ONVIF events to BI5.

If you don't want BI5 to react to IsMotion event, then you can disable it as shown in the screenshot below.
And you can leave the LineDetection event enabled in same config screen if that is the goal.

Thank you for the reply. I just wanted to go back to the way it was before. I definitely saw that, didn't want to "disable it" without know what other harms it might cause lol
