SmartPSS Cut and Paste

I'm unable to fill a password when I add a device (camera) to SmartPSS using cut and paste. This function is blocked. Any ideas as to how to circumvent this idiotic block?

Is there a way to force this? For example, this is also the case when using the web login however there are extension apps that DO allow you to force cut and paste in a browser environment. Absolute Enable is such an app.

Not using SmartPSS definitely solves this problem, sort of.
