I have a Dahua NVR and was wondering about the snapshot function settings. Currently there is continuous recording, motion recording and 2 cameras have a tripwire set up. The only snapshots I receive are when there is a trigger for the tripwire and I get emailed a snapshot related to this.
However looking at the settings, I see that under Camera > Events > Snapshots, there is a setting for Timing / Trigger. It is currently set at Timing.
Does that mean it is taking snapshots regularly throughout the day/night for all the cameras even though I don't recall any settings to have snapshots taken other than the tripwire trigger.
Should I set it only for only for Trigger?
Also any idea where the snapshots are saved. I can access the snapshots for the 2 cameras that are set up for tripwire but can't find snapshots for any other cameras. Presumably that means they are not taking snapshots.
