And thank God there were no dashcams circa '65 to '70 either! 
Back in my day, putting a fresh sack of $h!t on the porch, then lighting the bag on fire before hitting the door bell.
A door bell cam would have caught who put the bag there
, but also would get a great video of someone stomping the fire out,
then realizing what was all over their shoes.
