The sheriffs just left. We actually had a crime committed around here yesterday. A holiday break in about a half mile away and the guy stole a pickup as well. Their neighbors saw a guy wearing a backpack walking down that street shortly before the people's silent alarm went off (no cameras there). I invited them in and we reviewed footage from before and after the incident, so we were able to rule out anyone passing by here before or after. They are under the impression that the guy came walking in from where ever he was at the local county park.
Just posting because there've been a number of people asking if anyone would be willing to share their videos. Heck, when they drove up (separate vehicles) and asked about my street cam's footage, the first thing I did was invite them to come in and review the video on my street cam. I didn't even give it a second thought. YMMV...
