Camera: Dahua DH-IPC-HDW4831EMP-ASE 2.8mm

I can get the main stream to work in Blue Iris but every time I select the sub-stream the video feed fails. On configuring this camera, under Dahua, the model number does not appear. I ended up selecting Genera/ONVIF as the camera model and it picks up the main stream. How can I get the sub-stream to work? The below image is my settings image of this camera. It works without the sub-stream.

The following screenshot is with the sub-stream selected, this doesn't work.

Try changing the 2 to a 1 - it is trying to pull substream #2 and it may be off in the camera. And make sure the substream is turned on in the camera.

Yes, I understand that, and yes, I did redact the IP address.

In the drop down list do you not get the option for substream 1?
Not for sub-stream 1, here's a screenshot:

Where you see 'subtype=1' that is what I manually changed as per advice in above comments. At the web-interface for the camera I have enabled substream 1. There is reference to a substream 2 but at the camera web-interface that doesn't work, an error message claims not enough resources.

That is strange, I’d report it to BI support with maybe the output of the results of the find/inspect on the cam, hopefully Ken can use the output to maybe work out a fix?
