Does anyone know if there's any documentation on what kind of jpeg the HTTP API
RPC_Loadfile returns? It looks like it's returning a slightly non-standard jpeg format, which I'm guessing includes some non-standard metadata. I'm curious what's in that extra info - maybe bounding boxes? It'd be awesome if it happened to return some exif info on exposure used (so I could use the snapshot mechanism as a ambient light-level detector).Also, for dav file snippets returned by
loadfile.cgi?action=startLoad API calls, they seem to be parts of a dav file, but I get very inconsistent results when I feed it to a media player. Some start/end times result in playable videos, some don't. If there were information on the format of the data returned, I imagine one could filter out the metadata and produce eg an AVI file, like SmartPSS does.-Josh
