Speco N8JWN NVR

Our company has an older Speco N8JWN NVR. We currently have 6 cameras and would like to add up to the max of 8. The cameras we are using now are O2WK1N. They have apparently been discontinued and I have not been able to find any for sale. I found two used O2WK1 (no N at the end) but they will not pair with the N8JWN. I contacted Speco and they said the N8JWN requires the O2WK1N. I just wanted to check here to see if anyone has had any luck pairing another camera besides the O2WK1N with the N8JWN? Thanks in advance.

Hi @cmccall@firemanagementsys

I was not able to find the model O2WK1 .. I did find the O2WK1N model info

Speco NVRs used to be Dahua OEM, so the first thing to check is if the newer cameras you are attempting to connect with are Dahua OEM or another OEM.

If another OEM you will need to set the camera and channel on the NVR for that camera to ONVIF protocal.

If both are Dahua OEM double check user / password pairs.

If you bought used cameras, they can still have the user / password from the prior owner and needs to be factory reset.

( Also check if the NVR supports the resolutions and fps from the newer cameras.. looks like the wifi models were 2MP .. )
