SSA has been a great help as my camera is in a difficult spot, with half the frame pointed indoor and half outdoor, so there's a great variation of light condition during the day.
AFAIK it regulates the WDR setting depending on light conditions, and it worked great in day mode. I also enabled it for night mode.

Today has been a particularly cloudy day and my camera, which is in auto day/night mode, hasn't switched to day mode till 10:30 am.
I'm uncertain as to why in the picture below the outdoor is so overexposed in the outdoor (right) half, and so underexposed in the left.

I would understand if it couldn't get enough light in the dark spots with WDR, as I limited the shutter time to max 15 ms in night mode,
but surely it could use an inferior shutter time to get a clear picture of the outdoor half?

My camera is a HFW-3441E-SA, latest firmware. I know, not a great choice with sensor size and all, but I discovered this forum only after buying it lol.
