I am running a WR model DS-2CD2032-I V5.3.0 build 150814. I had the camera running for weeks using the e-mail functionality for Line Crossing Detection messages and in addition motion detection. Everything ran fine and 100% stable, no hickups or freezes at all.
However, I noticed last week that enabling the FTP upload functionality (which was already difficult to get to work) that the device crashed on several occasions. In addition, I have to remove the power supply to get it to boot, so no reboot after the crash. Today I had another freeze after a few days of solid performance. I was wondering if this problem is known and if not, where to report such problems. Luckily I purchased a (more expensive) WR version so that I can update its firmware.
Any thoughts or fixes?
