Still trying to get zone motion detection to work... see example attached

Have a look at the attached image that shows both camera views. On each camera, the orange tinted area is Zone A. The Blue tinted area is Zone B. Zone B overlaps Zone A as shown by the purple tint.

It seems no matter what I try, I'm not having consistent success detecting motion from Zone B to Zone A using B>A as the criteria. Those of you who are successfully detecting zone motion, would you please post your Trigger settings so I can compare? I'm running the latest BI release. Thanks!

Not sure if this is any help, but from my own experimenting it appears that for an object to be detected moving from one zone to another, it must first satisfy the object size, contrast and the make-time criteria. This might not be possible with an object coming from some of the narrow areas of your Zone B?
 
i found the box with "must travel this many pixels" need to be reduce it defaults too 100, many area of that you dont have 100 for anything to travle. try 25

also i only overlap a pixel or 2
