In some areas, If they can run out the clock, they get off the hook

That isn't the point LOL.

This was a student driving school and they basically encouraged a 16 year old to not take responsibility for hitting a parked car and to deny it if questioned. The BMV should have their business license pulled.

I see this all the freaking time on nextdoor but with much worse damage and the person just kept going.

My older car that I no longer have got a nice crease down the entire drivers side, but this was before I had good cameras so I couldn't even come close to who did it and kept going.

I've had a driver license since I was sixteen years old. I almost never back up to park anywhere.
