Support For Wipers On PTZ cameras

Hello again folks...

Has anyone got experience with PTZ cameras that have the little lens-wipers running on Blue Iris? My guess is that there is no support as I can't remember seeing anything even close.

But this is the place to ask these questions, so I'd love to hear from anyone on the topic

I have one of those cams that have the wiper and the only time I used it, it smeared a bug or something across the lens and there I was with a 40 ft ladder wiping it down with a cloth the next day. Its the last time I ever used it. Lol. that's just how unlucky I am though.

Ha ha...yeah, that's certainly going to be a factor. I've decided to pass on the model with the wiper. I bite the bullet and purchased this new model from Hikvision:

DS-2DF8836IV-AELW-Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.

There is a model without the wiper and that's what I have on order. Can't wait to see this thing in action!
