So, we were replacing the pressure tank for our Reverse Osmosis Water Filter and over-tightened the plastic valve on top of the tank, cracking the valve's casing. We foolishly[SUP]TM[/SUP] decided to fill the tank anyway, with the tank sitting out on the kitchen floor so we could easily check for leaks. About an hour later (long enough for the 3.2 gallon tank to be about full and at maximum pressure), the obvious thing happened. Its a shame you can't see the tank in my kitchen cam's view, because that was a spectacular jet of water. Straight as an arrow all the way to the ceiling and then out in every direction. Absolutely everything in a 20 foot radius was soaking wet.
