I'm a big Synology fan as some of you on here may know. But these cameras are a bit too much for what they are. If you are using Synology Surveillance Centre they may be a route as these have a built in license (you get 2 free licenses with Surveillance Centre) any extra cameras you need to by licenses for each camera, but as these have the license built in you don't need to use your two free.
There are reviews on YouTube but no night footage last time a checked, and no night movement so even though I like Synology, its a no from me especially at the price (but anything Synology isn't really cheap so I guess about right" And like @TonyR said the warranty is good but I've only had one camera ever go down for me in 10+ years and that has a Huissun (don't tell anyone, we all make mistakes)
I'm guessing they are testing the market, like they did with the routers and will come back next year with a better range, varifocal etc... but the price is always going to be on the premium side.

Yeah, just no. Synology's development time is waaaay behind. I have Synology NAS devices and their RT2600 router, but I would not touch Surveillance Station or cameras. Licensing of SS, at $50 a camera is a joke. BI is just way more useful, realistic (not proprietary either) and very inexpensive.

Yep that is a horrible price for horrible specs.
