System upgrade recommendations

I'm a noob here with cameras. I'm slowly upgrading my home system from a lorex system. I purchased a computer solely for Blue Iris, have all my cameras wired to a POE+ switch and they're all setup.

Now it's time to start upgrading my cameras, I have 6 outdoor cameras and 1 camera inside my garage. I may add a 7th exterior camera.......

What are good cameras for home use. Don't need super high end, but something good and clear.

Also what is a good side surveillance hard drive? 1 TB, 3 TB, 6 TB?

Welcome! One of many here that are migrating from Lorex to a better system!

As far as drives, you want something surveillance rated. Most go with WD purple. Go with the largest you can afford or that your computer will accept.
