And many people are surprised when some of the chain-operated pharmacy, department, clothing and variety stores start closing down stores and moving out of certain metro areas....why would anybody want to do business in a city where they go into the red, month after month, from inventory loss just trying to keep the doors open?
A handful of thieves cause this, now many more people lose employment and a store where they can shop OFFLINE and the local government loses tax revenue, causing an economic snowball effect. Why would any municipality allow that? <rhetorical question> I know why...because they are stupid and their politics blinds their judgment. They're slitting their own throats!
And why would any business entity want to jump through all the licensing, certifications, inspections and HR (DEI CRT, AF, etc.) hoops and other obstacles placed before you when trying to open and run even a slightly profitable company in NYC? You get on the "bad side" politically of anyone there in local or state government and they will spend gobs of taxpayer money to fabricate evidence, bribe judges, tamper with witnesses and persecute, indict, and prosecute in an attempt to destroy your business and your reputation.
No thanks, CA and NYC......
