You probably didn't notice unless you run crazy high resolutions, but for the longest time the BI web server was only capable of sending at speeds of just under 3 MB/s regardless of your LAN speed. Turns out this was due to using a really small send buffer. So recently, at my request, Ken increased the send buffer size which made it capable of sending at just over 10 MB/s. And then at my second request he made it size the buffer dynamically based on the content being sent. So the result is that as of yesterday or this morning, the latest Blue Iris can now send data with speeds in excess of 70 MB/s, and the really big (3840x2160) images that used to take 750ms to transfer now take 20 ms to transfer!
