Hello,

I have 5x Dahua SD59430U-HNI cameras for my house and setup the first one.

I have also a Floureon 1080p 30x PTZ camera (beside 2x NVS-900L 576i and 3x Fredi 8088 1080p), which I used for a longer time.

Now with the Dahua SD59430U-HNI I am much more in a professional area of PTZ cameras, but have some question, what Dahua do different than all my other PTZ camers.

1) file saving name / file saving path on my NAS (Synology DS918+ with 2x 10TB with Raid 1):

a) Alarm pictures: Floureon and the others save in the directoy, as I setup in the camera path and name the alarm pictures like "IP-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-Channel-Nr". (Pls see 1st picture)

So all alarm pictures are in ONE directory and I can chack them with Irfanview very fast, by clicking next, next, next,...

At the settings for Dahua SD59430U-HNI, I also define a path and thaugt, it will save like the Floureon.
But the Dahua dont. Dahua uses a wired path system (for me) for alarm pictures/videos:

Dir 1 = my defined directory on the cam settings (where I want "all in")
Sub Dir 2 = (created by Dahua) named with the "serial number"
Sub Dir 3 = (created by Dahua) named "date"
Sub Dir 4 = (created by Dahua) named camera stream number = "001" (in my case)
Sub Dir 5 = (created by Dahua) named "dav" (for records) and "jpg" (for alarm pictures)
Sub Dir 6 (jpg) = (created by Dahua) named "hour" = e.g. "00"
Sub Dir 7 (jpg) = (created by Dahua) named "minutes" = e.g. "07"
And in the 7th Sub Dir the filename starts with the Seconds e.g. "12[F][0@0][0].jpg" (Pls see 2nd picture)

Thats so strange and wired to me, and not usable with Irfanview at all.

With alarm videos the wired Dir creation stops at Sub Dir 6 = "hours" and with the filename: "04.41.58-045.52.05[M][0@0][0].dav" (Pls see 3rd picture)

Does anyone nows, how I can change it within the Dahua setup, that I works like the Floureon PTZ camera for alarm pictures and alarm videos?

The very interessting thing is, that in the alarm mail, Dahua creates a correct filename = e.g. "20181001151546017ch01.jpg" (Pls see 4th picture)

Regards from Germany

How is the filepath on other Dahua cameras, that uses a NAS? Similar strange?

hello

I don't know if this is the case for all of them, but the Sd4925 and the Sd6CE take the pictures according to the same scheme. You are right it is a big disadvantage. You go with Infrview 64 Thumbnails on the folder and can then open with the right mouse button all subfolders in a view.

Thank you Fred2000, that helps me a lot.

Next question: Does anybody knows, where I can configure the minimum time for records from motion detection?

I mostly have a couple of seconds and would like to change it to min 1 minute.

Hello,
I think it works the same as my Sd6c.
Setting -> Event -> Video Detection -> mark Record -> Record Delay 10 - 300 Sec -> Alarm Delay 10-300 Sec->save

Hello Fred2000,

thank you for your answer.

Do I get this right "Record Delay" means, after "Alarm" the time to record? Means "Record Delay 60" = 1 minute of recording after alarm?

But what does "Alarm Delay" means?

Greetings 42er

Btw, did you get my PM (conversation)?
