Thermal hybrid cameras are really cool. But for some reason the regular visible-light sensors in these always feel like a compromise. Like, if you want the best low-light performance, thermal hybrid cameras are not even being considered because they use cheaper 4MP 1/2.7" sensors, not the 4MP 1/1.8" that everyone has been already using for years.
I don't understand why Dahua and Hikvision both do this. Don't make it feel like a compromise in quality to get a thermal hybrid.
