My current system setup is i5 6th Gen HP ProDesk with an 4TB HDD for CCTV recording with Reolink camera and a Reolink app. I want to switch to another machine. A Lenovo V530 Tower PC with 2x hard drive mounts with 8GB RAM with an i3-8100 processor. But this time, I want to increase the number of cameras running from 1 to 5x cameras and maybe use the free version of Blue Iris. This Computer noob is asking, can I I do this with the free version of BI?
- Pentium dual-core or equivalent 2GHz processor or better
- 8GB or more system RAM
- Microsoft Windows 7 or newer OS (equivalent server OS as well)
- One or more USB or Network IP cameras, or an analog capture card with DirectShow drivers
