These are a couple of 2MP cameras which cannot record 24/7. I'm planning on getting another top view overview kind of cam to trigger specific cameras to record based on "zones". basically capture what everyone is doing then trigger when people are passing the identity zone
Relying on triggers has its problems. Not sure why you can't record 24/7. You will never know if you are missing incursions unless you record 24/7.
But really the only way to answer your question is to set up the cams on a test rig(s) and find out. It will depend on the make and model of the cams, the lighting, and reflections.
