So I got a deal alert from slickdeals for a system with 4 or 6 LaView cams (4 MP) with the NVR. (4 cam bundle $600, 6 cam bundle $900).
How do people feel about LaView cameras in general? I've been looking for some higher quality (3 MP+) cameras to get a system started for my home and figured something like this would be good to start with. I'm interested in using something like BlueIris down the road but figured it would be worthwhile to start with the included NVR, which also supports other ONVIF compliant cameras in case I want to expand later using different cameras (I plan to do this).
Am I overlooking something or is this simply a middle-of-the-road deal? Amazon reviews seem decent (around 4 stars for similar LaView systems) which is good compared to some of the Lorex systems I see on Costco's website.
