Yes gotta agree, the newer 6th gen CPU would be useful, if it’s just the case that’s tatty then I’d put up with that for the better CpU.
Thoughts on the Dell Precision Tower 3620 as a BI Server?

Okay, should get the 3620 this weekend.
I currently use a Hikvision NVR and as such have been using only Hik cameras as it's just easier. I assume once I go to BI there aren't any issues with mixing and matching cams? E.g., I like the ColorVu Hik capabilities for certain parts of my house, and then will likely go with a Dahua for LPR and possibly some darker areas where there 5442 Starlight seems to be really highly rated with IR

Picked it up, I think memory slot 4 might be faulty since it won't boot with the 4th stick of 8GB of RAM in that slot (tried the same RAM in another slot and it worked fine). Other than the fact that that means it has 24gb of RAM vs 32, seems to be fine otherwise.
