Currently on 5.3.0.3 with no issues. Any reasons to update to current version?

Only if a newer version offers a feature you really want.

You could review the MANY updates since your version to see if any get your attention here ==> Blue Iris Software Updates

Also, a list of "recent" updates, but possibly not listed in chronological order ==>> HERE.

IMO, unless you're using Deepstack or Code Project AI, do a lot of clip review using UI3 or are experiencing issues, I'd remain on my current WORKING version.

+1 above. Only update if they added something you want.

Most of us are on an older version and holding tight until something is added we want or need. I am on the version prior to CodeProject because Deepstack simply works in my case and too many horror stories of people trying to get CodeProject going. One day I will update, but not now.

I updated reluctantly to the latest after a couple of minor recording issues - installed build ...18 on the day before yesterday. No issues so far.

I haven't updated CPAI as no update and I've found this more temperamental, either that or it's me.
