Time update

I got my cpu replaced with intel i7 now i am at 20% cpu amazing difference from amd.

While i was searching the last few days i stumbled across a thread where you can put the BI info in the camera for automatic time updating but can't seem to find it again.

Hopefully someone can direct me to it.

as far as I know, BI does not act as a time server, nor does BIT (BI Tools add-on), although we ha discussed that as a possible add-on.

that said, you should be able to run some sort of NTP server on your BI windows machine, maybe like this:

haven't done it myself, but probably should, as all my cams go out to time.nist.gov to sync time...

Try this Jay...

Run this utility on your Blue Iris server...

http://www.timesynctool.com/

Then set each camera's firmware to use your Blue Iris Server as their NTP (Network Time Protocol) server.

I do this and all 22 of my cameras are time-synced to within a second or two.
