I own few Google Nest surveillance cameras and there is one feature in particular that stands out from all other surveillance software, the timeline.
The timeline is a scrollable/zoomable seek bar that doesn't have a notion of clips, the footage is a continuous stream with any events marked as dots on it.
I find using clips and seek very clunky, especially that there is no easy way to accurately seek long clips (for 24h 1 pixel on a seek bar is 1 minute). I find it very useful for finding events that motion detection missed, also seeking timeline like this allows you to get a real-time timelapse which you can use for a quick view to check how fast snow is melting etc.
According to Seek bar "zoom in" · Issue #63 · bp2008/ui3 there is a desire to implement something like this, unfortunately, there is no support from BI side.
Does anyone else would like to see this feature added to UI3? If yes please request it via Blue Iris support.
