tinycam fps problems

i am trying to setup my dahua cameras into tinycam, that seems to be working fine as tinycam is finding the rtsp streams.
But the live views, i am only getting 2-5 fps , and every 10 seconds or so, it goes down to 0 and theres no image.

There are two likely reasons for this. 1) Poor wifi connectivity. 2) The main stream is too resource intensive for your device.

You could try a sub stream instead, and see if that works better. Many of the more recent dahuas let you set up the second sub stream as 1280x720 so the resolution won't suck too badly.

In tinycam, how do we select a substream instead of the main stream?

Edit: found the answer - Can I record in high quality, and view in low quality ?

need to select "Low bandwidth profile"
