I have been perusing this forum for some time but the illegible captcha at sign up prevented me from becoming a member.
I have read many shadow trigger issues and wanted to put forth my two cents.
Disable motion on exterior cameras and set recording to take a snap shot (only) every 10 minutes for 24 hours.
After a day, you can click through time lapse pics and see precisely when tree shadows will begin and end, both in morning and evening.
I have a short profile for morning triggers and afternoon triggers. Morning triggers is 40 minutes and evening 90 minutes long.
Also great for street lamps at night that cause moving branch shadows.
Will need to create one for each season of the year as the shadows will gradually change.
