Tmezon Wifi ONVIF POE Ip Camera Doorbell - Good image day But night time has lines!

So i had been looking for a while for a door bell with ip camera and to have Onvif/Poe ready.


And got one from China ($80) and installed it and it works fine during day time, but once the night sets the night vision has lots of lines in the video image! And if i come from
let say 10-15 feet's towards the camera (at night) , when i am about 3-5 inches away from the camera ,it looks that is stabilizing and lines go away!


What could be the problem here?

Camera was purchased here at this seller but i see they modified the item,as i did get this when i purchased :

Right now my camera is wired to poe tp-link and connected to BI.

Any help will appreciate.

If the lines go away when the subject is almost on top of the camera, I'm guessing that it's an illumination problem. The cam apparently needs LOTS of IR to function properly at night and that is only happening when the subject is almost on top of the cam and the built-in illuminators. Try adding an external IR floodlight to see if that helps.

And i see that has a power supply, now does this needs to be connected with the video doorbell? or is just a separate own thing? And must be mounted in top of the camera , just few inches up and going in the same direction as the camera?
Will be my first LED IR Illuminator to install.

test it with visible lighting, you dont have a shop light, or anything like that you can put out front at night and see?

might just need to upgrade your porch light to one that has dusk to dawn and more lumens.

test it with visible lighting, you dont have a shop light, or anything like that you can put out front at night and see?

might just need to upgrade your porch light to one that has dusk to dawn and more lumens.

I have turn on the light outside and still lines still there. I do have LED bulb, but i rarely turn it on.

I have to test with a shop light from behind the doorbell to see if any different.

Not sure about that..."no ir cut filter" will that do more clear pictures? or .."the ir cut..

The colors in the trees are all off...I would demand a refund...

They said this"There is a IR-cut filter inside, no light will auto switch night vision" regarding the ir-cut.

But picture at 720p not really good looks like, not sure about this crap anymore! Did not expect this with the doorbell, after searching for onvif/poe ready and to work with BI...hmm The only 1080p is Ring video bell ,but no onvif/poe or to work with BI.

Tried shop light from behind and other position, nothing lines still there. The only option is maybe to add a IR Illuminator to see if that helps.

I have never seen lines like that related to low light issues...something else is going on...

And is not the cabling for sure...is something within the camera/doorbell/ir, ir maybe cheap quality... for sure...

if adding more visible light didnt help, more IR wont.. send it back, its not usable.

Contacted them and asked some questions, and the seller talk to their technicians and they said this regarding the lines while on night vision:

"About the lines, there is the IR-cut limitation of only 3led inside as our technician tole me. "

I guess , will have to return. Not sure how this works... "open a dispute" or just ask the seller in message that i need to return and refund? First time doing this over at Ali.

IR Illuminator did not help,lines still there.

So after been talking to the seller back in fort regarding the night vision problem with those lines, they give me those options:


For your described of the situation, lines in night vision, we provide some solutions of it:


1.Send the replacement I show you last time,( no lines in night vision) but it can't connect with wireless chime.

2.Cost more money $95(included $40 discount) to get another wifi intercom with fingerprint function ,also no lines in night vision. Can connect with wireless chime.You can see in this link:

3.Refund $30 to you for the defective and wireless chime without sending back both of them.

So i paid $90 for both video door bell and the wifi chime.

Not sure if i want another 720p video door bell, but not vary many options there when it comes to poe/onvif/BI Ready, so not sure but maybe just get option 1 and sell it here...
