Tons of motion alerts!

I have a relatively simple setup where I have a camera on my front porch.

I have 2 zones setup. Zone A is only my porch.
Zone B is the whole picture.

I have zone A set to give alerts via email whenever there is motion detected and zone B to record whenever there is motion.

My problem is, when I get motion anywhere in the picture, I am getting email alerts. This worked alright (only a couple of alerts with nothing) before the last update (4.6.4.8) but now I'm getting alerts for every single car driving by) I have a licensed version. Do I have something set wrong somewhere? It is picking up motion in the road and triggering an email alert. I don't want alerts for cars driving by or people walking by.

I see "Trigger camera groups" is checked in your third screenshot. Is this camera triggering a group it is in? Maybe that is what causes your email alert to be sent.

That is triggering my rear exterior camera to record also. I am not getting alerts from that camera though.

I mean is your FrontPorch camera part of the group(s) being triggered by FrontPorch's motion detector?

Yes it is, I can try removing that.

this seems to have fixed my issue. Thank you for the very fast response. I had somewhere close to 150 emails today already.
