Tower mount overview EmpireTech IPC-Color4M-TL OK for sky viewing?

You need to consider the labor and the convenience to power that motor, and outdoor expose to the rain will shorten the life of the motor. If the place have good light at night, use the ptz PTZ3E405-AI can be good.

Is the IPC-Color4M-TL supposed to make the night sky look blue with occasional fluffy white clouds ... or do I need to change a setting, please?

It is correctly seeing my weather station's anemometer spin and vehicles passing by, so it's not showing archived daytime images.

Thanks!

Just post your pics and your settings will be easier to know how to make change.

This is a picture of a picture taken just now ... 10pm at night.

(FY: I believe that the bright light in the middle is our neighbor's pole mounted light.)

Great pic, but that blue sky is the normal thing when have the moonlight in the night.

You are also running on auto/default settings so the shutter is slowed down to let more light in.

This will result in blur of motion on the ground.

If you speed the shutter up the sky will get dark.

I don't see a shutter speed setting in the Empiretech NVR Web gui. Exposure is set to "Day", other options are "Night" and "General".

WB = "Auto". Day/Night = "Auto".

All settings should be done within the camera GUI, not the NVR.

Does that mean I have to disconnect it from the NVR, connect it to Router (requiring a change to the IP from 10.10.x.x to 192.168.x.x). access using the Reolink program (or another - it's not a Reolink but their app seems to handle many camera)), then reconnect it to the NVR - and restore things there?

Is this what I need? @EMPIRETECANDY @wittaj
