Hello folks, thank you in advance for reading this appeal for your help:

I purchased a Swann systema few years back from Fry's Electronics, it came with four ip cameras and a little white 4-channel PoE NVR. The NVR itself lasted maybe 8 months before it completely took a crap on me and by that time Swann and Fry's basically gave me the runaround until I forgot about it until very recently when I purchased a TrendNET TV-NVR208D2 PoE NVR.

I've plugged in the cameras to the NVR, run the wizard using standard DHCP network settings, but the unit does not recognize the four cameras video feed, it only registers the PoE power draw, verified in the PoE information tab. The cams have power, and I've tried to switch the protocols from TrendNET3 to ONVIF and Hikvision, to no avail. What can I do to fix this issue? I've called TrendNET and they told to call Swann, who promptly and curtly told me to call TrendNET, so now I'm stuck.

Some pointers on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated!!!
