Trouble getting FTP setup with NEw linkstation NAS drive

OKay so i have two Airlink outdoor cameras hooked up and connected to a back up drive (Buffalo LinkStation 210 2 TB 1-Drive NAS for Home (LS210D0201). FOr some reason I am unable to get them connected to the NAS drive using the FTP settings. This is actually my second Linstation my other one fine died after 10 years, which i had no problem getting the cameras to record to the old linkstation. But now with the new linkstation the cameras cant find the folder even though i hve follwed the instructions exactly for the new linkstation. Any Ideas?
