Trouble with bvr files.

Recently my bi windows machine had a fatal crash and I had to reinstall BI. I am still running bi4 because I prefer it over bi5. When the new machine finished recreating the database my alerts were missing from several days. I can see it loaded the clips. It Just failed to “extract” the alerts. Is there a way to force bi to rescanthe alerts from a single clip I have tried many things but I am stumped. Any suggestions would be helpful.

When a database is rebuilt the alerts are "wiped away" as they are simply placeholders created at the time of the alert. All of the files are there, just not the alert images because of this.

Why did most of my alerts get properly created but not others.

Weird fluke or not a complete rebuild.

I know when I have deleted the DB and it rebuilt, they were all gone and I believe it says that is what happens in the help file.
