Long story short, i am trying to help the apartment building where my old uncle lives.
The have got a Dahua NVR 4208-8p-4ks2 with 6 cameras. For some reason the motion detecting is not working.
So i thought about updating the camera firmware. But i don't know which type it is. The cameras are directly connected to the recorder. So they get an 10.1.1.* IP address. The weird thing is when i plug the camera directly into a PoE switch (unifi) it doesnt work. So i cannot use the configtool.
I dont know how the utp cable is running through the building, so there could be an issue somewhere. But on the other hand then i dont think it should work directly into the recorder as well. Right?
I have attached a picture of the camera. Does someone recognize this camera? This way i could maybe upload the a newer firmware to maybe solve the problem.
