UI3 only views substream

Finally taking advantage of BlueIris substream arrangement.

I have a camera setup for full time recording with alerts based on movement in 1/2 of the screen (my driveway).
I have this camera cloned, not recording, but creating alerts based on ~1/3 of the screen (street out front).

In the desktop console, both show the full resolution stream when viewing a single camera at a time.
In UI3, viewing only the street cam (clone) shows substream for a split second then full resolution (below left pic). Viewing only the driveway stays in the low resolution substream (below right stream).

Settings seem to be identical. I'm sure something is not, but i'm missing it. Any clues?

Have you checked/compared the settings on the video tab for both cameras?

I did compare settings. Screen shot of most tabs and compared side by side.

I just now gave up and deleted, reinstalled the camera. All works now. I'd rather understand what was causing it but oh well.
